We’ve all heard the mantra “sex sells”, and if Super Bowl ads are any indication it remains as true now as it was back in 1855 when W. Duke & Sons revived their lagging sales by inserting sexually provocative trading cards inside every pack of cigarettes they sold, taking themselves from also-ran status to one of the leading brands within 5 years.
