As I sit here nursing the dregs of a little flu bug I caught from my brother over the Turkey Day weekend (I swear that from now on he will be known to the world as “Typhoid Cliff”…he got ALL of us sick), I’m happy because the fever has finally broken and my voice is sounding a bit less like a strangled toad. Before I do my post about dealing with recruiters, thought I would add a little diversion from my usual topics. I don’t typically write about my family here, choosing instead to focus on business pursuits, design and art in general, but this was so cute I had to share. Anyway, over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, we drove down to my mother’s place in Maryland for the big family feast. I had a great interview yesterday, one of those interviews where you pray and pray to get the job because you want to work at the company so badly. While there, I got to talking with one of my (hopefully) future co-workers about music and our musical backgrounds in particular. Now, anyone who knows me, knows I am a music freak. FREAK.
